Shochu:
In generally, the spirit is produced by barley, sweet potatoes or rice. Depending on the tastes and occasions it can be drinken in variety of ways: purely with ice, water it (even hot water), as a cocktail, mixed with tea or with juice.
Sake (Japanese rice wine):
Exclusively made from rice ( this rice is different from table rice) by adding water and yeast. There are four major categories of sake can be distinguished, depending on extent to which the grain is removed from the outer shell: Daiginjo, Ginjo, Junmai, Honjozo. The type of Junmai is recommended to drink in room temperature or at hot temperature.
Plum Wine (Umeshu):
It is like Hungarian plum wine, but with lower alcohol content and the basic beverage is sake with Ume fuit (Prunis mume) and sugar. It can be drink with ice or soda water.
